The GODHEAD

We believe in the existence of the Godhead:  God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. We believe they are one in thought, purpose and will towards the redemption of mankind. 2 Corinthians 13:14; Ephesians 1:3-14

 

The Father

  • Blesses us with spiritual blesses

  • Chooses us

  • Gives us His Grace

  • Gives us an inheritance

Christ Our Savior

  • Resend us through His Blood

  • Forgives our sins

Holy Spirit

  • Seals us

  • Guarantees our inheritance

The Word of God and Worship

We believe in the inerrancy, infallibility and God-breathed inspiration of the Word of God, the Bible.   It is the Word of God and is relevant for every area of life. Psalm 119: 105,160; 2 Timothy 14-17; Hebrews 4:12.

We rely on the complete guidance of the word of God in our expression of worship. Our worship services are based on apostolic doctrine and examples found in scripture:

• Singing (Acts 16:25; Ephesians 5:19; Colossians 3:16-16)
• Preaching and Teaching (Matthew 4:23; Acts 15:35; II Timothy 4:1-4)
• Prayer (Acts 2:42; I Thessalonians 5:17)
• Tithing and Offering:  Resources, Time and Talents (Malachi 3:10; Acts 2:44-45; Acts 4:34-35)
• Communion: On the First Day of each week (Acts 2:42, 46; I Corinthians 11:23-34)

Discipleship and Salvation

We believe that the church’s primary purpose is to make disciples by teaching the gospel. Matthew 28:16-20
We believe that Jesus is the only way to God and eternal life. John 14:6.
We believe that every honest seeker’s response to Jesus being the only way is to:

  • Hear and Believe (Romans 10:14-17)

  • Repent (Acts 17:30)

  • Confess (Acts 8:36-37; Matthew 10:32-39; 1 John 2:23; 4:2,15)

  • Be Baptized (Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38)

  • Live the New Life (Romans 6:4)


We believe in the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in the lives of those who by faith through obedience, have been baptized for the forgiveness of sins. (Acts 2:36-38)


We believe that the Holy Spirit is actively involved in the life of the church. He guides and teaches us to grow into the image of Christ and manifest the kingdom of God on earth. (John 14:26-27, 16:13-16; Romans 8:12-17)
